New appointment at Epoq heralds renewed focus on business development

APW 51Andrew Walker has recently joined Epoq as Commercial Director with responsibility for setting the company’s commercial strategy and delivering new revenue streams to the business through direct sales and channel partnerships. In addition, Andrew is responsible for the delivery of sales, marketing and business development activities and the management of a small team of highly skilled professionals across these disciplines.

Andrew says, “I joined Epoq because I find the mix of highly focused content, transformational technology and human expertise at Epoq compelling. Having spent more than 25 years in the information and consulting markets I have not seen anything that matches Epoq for quality and ease of use.”

Having worked for both ’boutique’ and blue-chip organisations in the professional consulting sector, Andrew has a very broad-based background on which to draw. Prior to joining Epoq Andrew worked for global information and compliance services provider Wolters Kluwer where he was Business Development Director in the £30m Croner business.

Andrew holds a BSc. in modern languages and applied linguistics from Aston University and completed his graduate training with the Sony Corporation.
